Our projects include the design and development of motor prototypes and series production motors for the e-mobility market. This position requires a combined level of technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and good communication skills to help customers select the right solution.

This is what you'll do:

  • Assist the Sales department with technical support throughout the (pre)-sales life cycle. This means that you help customers with advice to apply our motor portfolio to their project while considering related systems (drives, battery, integration with gearboxes, etc.).

  • Coordinate with R&D to evaluate the customer requested specs (RFI’s and RFQ’s) and package a Traxial product offering into a winning proposal.

  • Prepare a structured proposal, which includes the technical solution and pricing, to ensure projects are realistic, commercially viable, and aligned with company strategy.

  • Assist in creating/updating product documentation, sales process documentation, and sales support tools.

  • When a project is won, there is a hand-over to the project/program manager.

  • At a later stage, you own and maintain the costing & project estimation tools to further improve the proposal development process.

Who are we looking for?

The perfect candidate is a self-starter with a sound technical knowledge of the developments in ground eMobility. This role is for a passionate engineer or motor specialist – we are not looking for a salesperson.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive/technical engineering.

  • Strong at communication (verbal and written), time management, and coordination.

  • A task-oriented independent who can abide by tight timelines to get the job accomplished to a high standard.

  • A critical thinker who uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong technical background (electrical or mechanical engineering).

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

  • Good technical writing skills.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • You are not afraid of a startup/scale-up environment where a healthy mix of product engineering- and hands-on activities are crucial.
