Traxial is looking for a Sr. Powertrain Systems Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. You will be taking responsibility for the extraction, derivation, and development of system requirements and definition of verification activities for the integration of our axial flux motor and inverter technologies in future electric vehicles.
This is what you’ll do:
Lead the development of system and sub-system specifications through active research and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
Perform system modeling for system requirements extraction and interface development using the appropriate tools.
Prepare and update requirements specifications with information generated during the product development process (e.g. inputs from FMEA, functional safety work).
Chair interface & requirements development workshops to ensure requirements are understood and appropriate for the product development.
Work closely with the test department to develop test plans and procedures for verifying requirements and validating the product (ASIL rated).
Who are we looking for?
Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Aerospace engineering or equivalent through experience.
At least five years of experience with system modeling for the automotive industry or complex mechatronic systems.
Experience with automotive functional safety requirements and standards (ISO 26262, …).
Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal), good collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively across teams within the organization.
